Emma has a degree in public relations and a strong record of working in commercial organisations before joining VisitBritain with over 10 years’ experience working within travel across cruise, ancillaries and retail. The early part of her career was working across retail, overseas and within the commercial division of TUI. Emma then moved to the leading B2B ancillaries specialists Attraction World. Here Emma identified key opportunities and saw record growth figures across her remit within the UK and also honed in on her digital skills of ancillaries in both B2B and B2C environments. In 2015 Emma was recognised by the leading trade publication TTG media and was one of 30 people selected for the Tomorrow’s Travel Leaders programme – 30 under 30.
In 2017 Emma joined VisitBritain to lead on the global intermediary strategy, predominately focussing on getting new bookable product into key distribution channels and identifying a trade engagement strategy via key distribution partners in the trade.
